Where we can start

Make AI useful in your context.

Get comfortable with AI tools

If you are curious about ChatGPT or other AI tools but unsure how to use them, we can work through a real task. Explore how to give useful context, ask better questions, and evaluate the answers you get.

Think through a workflow

Bring a recurring writing, research, reporting, or organizational task. We can examine where AI could help, what information it would need, and which decisions should stay with a person.

Clarify a team’s next step

If your team sees an AI opportunity but the path is unclear, start with the people, process, and constraints involved. We can identify a small experiment and discuss whether a separately scoped implementation roadmap would help.

The conversation

One question. A clearer next move.

  1. Start with your situation

Tell me what you are trying to do, what you have tried, and what feels unclear. A rough question is enough.

  2. Look at the whole system

We’ll consider technical capabilities alongside the workflow, the people using it, and the consequences of getting it wrong.

  3. Choose something to try

The aim is a useful decision, action, or experiment you can take forward. A first conversation is a place to find direction, with further work scoped only if it makes sense.

Your coach

Matthew Roxas: Engineering, operations, and human judgment.

I’m Matthew Roxas, an AI coach based in Indianapolis. I studied computer engineering at Purdue University, with an AI/ML concentration and a philosophy minor. My work spans data science teaching, software and community data projects, and marketing operations.

That mix shapes how I coach: understand what the technology can do, how it fits the work, and what it means for the people involved. I’m developing this practice through conversations and feedback, with the goal of helping people make their own informed decisions.

Before we talk

Questions about AI coaching.

What does an AI coach help with?

An AI coach helps you think through how artificial intelligence fits your work and life. We can look at a tool, a recurring task, or a decision you are facing, then consider what to try, what to check, and where your own judgment needs to stay involved.

Do I need technical experience?

No. Bring the question in your own words. You do not need to code, know AI terminology, or have a polished project brief. We can begin with the task you want to make easier and work from there.

Can we talk about ChatGPT or an AI workflow at work?

Yes. Bring a specific example: a prompt that produces unhelpful answers, a writing or research task, or a workflow you are considering automating. We can examine the inputs, the output you need, and how you would check whether the result is useful.

How much does AI coaching cost?

The initial Talk Through an AI Question conversation is free and lasts 45 minutes. Optional support is welcome but never required. If an organizational question needs a separate implementation roadmap, we agree on scope and price before paid work begins.

What should I bring to the conversation?

Bring one question, a little context about your current process, and what you would like to understand or change. A made-up or anonymized example is enough; leave out passwords, private customer records, and information you are not permitted to share.
